VMware vSphere 6.0 introduces many significant enhancements that focus on three areas that include VSAN, Virtual Volumes and VAIO. Eric Siebert starts his presentation with a brief history of vSphere, then describes in detail the new features and their end-user value and use cases. He cautions IT managers that vSphere 6.0 will stress storage resources even more and none of the new features solve storage performance problems. Eric closes his presentation with a short overview of Infinio's server-side performance acceleration technology which can provide a cost-effective and easy to deploy boost to storage in vSphere 6.0 environments.
